If there is anything Okinawa holds the top position in the world, it is the incredibly elaborate children’s playgrounds in every little village, town, and city.

The first time I saw a long slide that stretched along the Highway 330, I was stunned to discover this was actually a playground slide for children. It seemed so high and incredibly long. The longest slide I can remember going down as a kid was about 6 feet long, lasted less than two seconds, and aggressively hurtled me into a pile of sand. Some of the slides in Okinawa are hundreds of feet long and can last about one minute going down.
第一次看到沿著330國道延伸的長長的滑梯，驚奇地發現這竟然是兒童遊樂場滑梯。它看起來那麼高，那麼長。我記得小時候滑下的最長滑梯大約有 6 英尺長，持續時間不到兩秒鐘，然後猛烈地將我撞到一堆沙子裡。沖繩的一些滑梯有數百英尺長，可以持續大約一分鐘。
One incredible park is the “Roller Slide Park” located in Chatan. There is a giant slide that is 83 meters above sea level, and at the top of the slide there is a 360-degree lookout tower, which provides you with a view of the entire island. There is a walking path, basketball courts， and multiple washroom facilities that add to the convenience of the park, which are just some of the reasons this is my favorite park. 一個令人難以置信的公園是位於北谷的“滾輪滑梯公園”。有一個海拔83米的巨型滑梯，滑梯頂端有一座360度的瞭望塔，可以將全島盡收眼底。有一條步行道、籃球場和多個洗手間設施，增加了公園的便利性，也是我最喜歡的公園的部分原因。
